Ordering

You can place your order 1 or more days in advance. We even provide same-day cake delivery in Mumbai for select areas that are located close to our patisserie, i.e. Bandra – Juhu.

How many days in advance should I place my order?

Completing your payment is absolutely hassle-free. You can pay through MasterCard, Visa, RuPay, UPI app, Netbanking, PhonePe, InstaCred, EMI, ICICI Bank PayLater, and more.

What modes of payment do you accept?

All you need to do is provide us with your full name, complete address that you want your order delivered to, email address, and phone number.

What information is required from my end to submit the order?

When you place an order on our online cake shop, creating an account helps securely save all your personal information and delivery details which makes it easier for when you wish to place more orders with us in the future.

Why should I create an account?

No, it is not necessary to create an account to place an order online on Deliciae. You can order a Gourmet cake online simply by continuing as a guest. However, if you do not want to repeatedly add your personal information and address every time you place an order, we recommend creating an account for convenience.

Is it necessary to have an account to order cakes on Deliciae?

Yes, cancellations are accepted 24 hours prior to your delivery. If you have ordered a Gourmet cake online and wish to cancel it, you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee or a 100% credit note would be provided which can be used towards any future order.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you have cancelled your online cake order, the refund amount will be credited to the original source of your payment through Razorpay.

What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?

If you wish to arrange for a pick up from our cake shop, you can do so by choosing the pick up option on our homepage at orders.delcakes.in & choose your desired pick up time at checkout.

How can I arrange for a pick-up from your bakery?

Yes, you can. We can ship some of our chocolate gift boxes outside Mumbai. If you need more details regarding this, please connect with us on WhatsApp – 9029023000.

Can I place an order to be shipped outside of Mumbai?

In case you haven’t received an order confirmation email after having placed a cake order online, please get in touch with us at info@deliciaecakes.com for a prompt resolution.

If you wish to make certain changes to your cake order online, you can do so by getting in touch with us at info@deliciaecakes.com. Change requests are accepted only a minimum of 12 hours in advance.

What happens if I want to modify my order?

For any bulk or custom cake orders, please get in touch with us on WhatsApp – 9029023000. We will see to it that you get everything you need!

I want to place a ‘Bulk/ Custom Order’ for products, who should I contact?

For bulk/ corporate orders, please note that you would have to place your order at least 2 weeks in advance.

How much notice do I need to give to place a bulk/ corporate order?

No problem! If you live abroad, you can send a birthday cake or a gift for absolutely any occasion to your friends and family residing in Mumbai by placing an order on orders.delcakes.in.

What if I live abroad?

We have an online cake delivery service and deliver all across Mumbai, and to some parts of Thane as well. So, all you need to do is sit back, place your order online and leave it to us to ensure a smooth delivery right to your doorstep.

Do you deliver? And in which locations?

We make sure our products are delivered damage-free and so we use our own private sanitised vehicles and in-house drivers to ensure the cakes & desserts are delivered in the best possible manner.

What is the mode of delivery?

Our vans deliver multiple orders in one single trip and hence it isn’t possible for you to pick a specific delivery time. Once you’re done placing your order online, you will receive an email mentioning the delivery time slot.

Can I choose a particular delivery time?

No, we do not deliver orders at midnight. When you order cake online, it is delivered between a fixed time slot during the day.

Can I get the order delivered at midnight?

Yes, we levy a delivery charge on our services for cake delivery in Mumbai and Thane. The delivery cost may vary depending on the location.

Are there any delivery charges?

Yes we deliver on weekends as well as on public holidays. You can order a Gourmet cake online on absolutely any day of the week and we will have it delivered to you!

Do you also deliver on Sundays and public holidays?

No, we do not accept Cash on Delivery. We only accept digital payments. When you order a cake online, you can make the payment online via MasterCard, Visa, RuPay, UPI app, Netbanking, PhonePe, InstaCred, and more.

Do you accept COD?

Once you have placed your order online, you will be given updates regarding your order status through email and SMS. You will also receive an intimation once your order is out for delivery and a confirmation email once the delivery is complete.

How can I track my order?

If you happen to be unavailable when the delivery executive from our cake shop reaches your location, he will hand the order to your building’s security guard. You can then pick it up later when you get back. Since it’s a perishable product, it is not possible for us to re-attempt delivery as most of our products cannot handle the back and forth.

What if the recipient is not available when the delivery person reaches there? Will you re-attempt delivery?

Our customers generally have nothing to worry about since our operations run on a well designed software. In an unlikely incident of your order not being delivered, we can arrange for an express online cake delivery within 2 hours, a next day delivery, or a complete refund.

What if my order of cake is not delivered on the desired date?

We strive to deliver quality products and ensure they are delivered to you in the best condition. However, if you ever receive a damaged product after purchasing one of our cakes online, please get in touch with us via email at info@deliciaecakes.com for a prompt resolution to your concern.

What if the products received are damaged?

Customer satisfaction comes above everything else for us. If you ever face an issue regarding the quality or taste of our products after you order a cake online, please get in touch with us at info@deliciaecakes.com for a prompt resolution to your concern.

What if the products received do not taste right?

No, we do not accept returns of any cake order online or offline. However, if there is any issue with the product that has been delivered to you, please get in touch with us at info@deliciaecakes.com or DM us on Instagram and you will receive a prompt response from us.

Can I return an item/order?

Products

Yes! Majority of the cakes on our menu are eggless, so you can choose the cake of your preference and place an order online. You can get an eggless 3D birthday cake, unicorn theme cake, customised cake, designer cake, baby shower cake, and a lot more!

Do you have eggless cakes?

Yes, we do have cakes on the go available for walk-in customers! You can come and check out some indulgent cakes at our Bandra Store and our cake shop at Foodhall, Linking Road.

Do you have cakes on the go available for walk-in customers?

There may be a slight difference in colour and finish when it comes to images of the cakes online and the actual products. This is because product images uploaded on the website are professionally shot. However, we never compromise on taste and assure you that the taste will be delightful!

Will the cake image and actually delivered cake be identical?

After receiving your online cake delivery, here’s how long you can keep different kinds of desserts: Cakes/desserts containing fresh fruits - 1 to 2 days Chocolate-based cakes/desserts - 2 to 3 days Cakes/desserts such as Tiramisu/Tres Leches - 1 to 2 days

How long can I keep my desserts for?

We advise you to immediately refrigerate them as soon as you receive your online cake order. In case of Fondant Cakes, please store them in an airconditioned room.

How do I store my cakes & desserts once I receive them?

Yes, of course! When you order for yourself or send a cake to Mumbai from orders.delcakes.in, you get an option to add a personal message on the cake as well as on a card once you have added the cakes/ desserts to your cart.

Can I add a personal message?

Yes, we provide a gift card with the order. You can write a personal message after adding your items to your cart. However, we do not provide candles with cakes.

Do you provide gift cards and candles with cake and desserts?

Yes, you can customise your cakes and gift boxes by getting in touch with us on WhatsApp at 9029023000. For customised cakes, the minimum order quantity is 2kgs. For gift boxes, the minimum order quantity is 50 boxes.
